About Achol

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I try to be a smart setter who communicates a lot on the court and keep my team organized. I’m still learning but I work hard to be a reliable setter and get better each practice.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a positive player who stays focused and doesn’t let mistakes or negativity affect my game. I try to keep a good attitude, stay confident, and improve from my mistakes no matter what.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve been involved with student council, soccer, and track, which have taught me organization, discipline, and have helped me grow as a teammate. I also tried out for Siouxland Volleyball Club, but I decided to focus on off-season training and weekly volleyball lessons. Currently, I am working on preparing myself for high school volleyball and improving my skills.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being in student council has helped me learn responsibility and how to work with others to make decisions. Sports have taught me how to stay disciplined, work with teammates, and keep a positive attitude even when things are challenging. I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and what they have taught me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is balancing school and sports while trying to work on my volleyball skills. I also didn’t continue with a club team, but I used it as motivation to improve and focus on off-season training.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m currently open to different types of colleges and want to see what opportunities are available in the future.
