She sets and hits right side for Potomac. At 5’11” she brings some height to the setting position. For the Panthers she stays right side to provide offense, clearly finding success there as she ranks third on the team in kills. She also fits third in blocks and second in digs. And while setting in the back row it puts her number one in assists.

For Virginia Elite she normally finds herself as the back up setter who fills in on the right side. Virginia Elite normally runs a 5/1 offense with their older teams.

Adalene has committed to Williams College to pursue her education and volleyball career.

Adalene had a solid performance at the Junior Nations jumping her ranking from number 68 to 55. She played right side and strung together some critical kills. At one time she was a setter and right side but now her performance for Virginia Elite comes strictly as a right side.

She also plays for Potomac, which plays in Division I of the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA). The top eight ranked teams qualify for the state playoffs. Potomac finished eighth last year resulting in an opening day match against the eventual champion Flint Hill. They also play in the ISL. Adalene earned an honorable mention spot on the ISL All Tournament team last year.
