About Adalyn
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a dynamic setter, while my primary focus is delivering precise, hittable balls and running a fast, I prioritize putting my hitters in the best position to succeed while remaining an active scoring threat myself.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I bring a fierce, never-give-up attitude to the court and thrive when my team needs to fight back from a deficit. As a leader, I stay composed under pressure, and focused on the next play. I treat every point as a chance to compete, and I take pride in keeping my team’s energy high and focused no matter the score.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have been with team Ok Elite for 2 years for Volleyball. earing MVP for last season.
Over 100 volunteer service hours.
First place is Duet -Speech and Debate.
Principal Honor Roll.
Second and Third place in track.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Volleyball has taught me the true meaning of teamwork and resilience. I’ve learned that individual success is meaningless without the trust of my teammates, and I constantly work to build that connection on and off the court. My 'never-give-up' attitude stems from a commitment to fighting for every point, teaching me how to stay focused during adversity and work collaboratively.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
A significant challenge for me going through many tough tryouts for top teams and not getting accepted. Instead of getting discouraged, I chose to view those rejections as a roadmap for what I needed to improve. I used the disappointment as fuel, putting in extra hours to refine my skills.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college with a strong pre-med track and excellent science programs to prepare me for medical school and my goal of becoming a pediatrician. It’s important to me to find a school with active pre-med advising, opportunities for undergraduate research, and a supportive community where students push each other to succeed
