Dempsey may be 5’6, but she is aggressive and fearless as a hitter as she saw ample opportunities to take swings for her GCVC team while at AAU nationals. With good athleticism, her footwork in transition is quick as she turns to run off the net, which allows her time to get to the ball and swing to challenge the defense in front of her. The high elbow swing she uses allows her to maximize where she can contact the ball and put good force behind it upon contact.
