Melzark is a lefty pin with a great reach that allows her to accommodate any set that is sent her way. She transitions quickly off the net, has quick footwork and has a great read and reaction time to accommodate any ball sent her way. Melzark also does a solid job on the defense end, she reads well, lines herself up correctly, and puts up a solid block. Melzark is also quick and moves efficiently to play good off blocker defense.
