About Addison

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe myself as a versatile, hardworking player. For both school and club I am an all around player, setter in the back and right side in the front. I am a great at every skill from decisive setting to power hitting. I never give up and I’m always looking to challenge my self.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I describe my self as a leader. I am always captain of the team meaning I’m not afraid to yell and be strict, while I am also my team’s best motivator. I have a never give up mentality, meaning no matter how much we are losing by I believe there is always a chance.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a part of the student athlete leader ship team (which required coach recommendation), and student council.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have gotten really good over the years, playing both volleyball and softball, with leading my team. I know exactly how to motivate people, get them out of a bad mood, give constructive criticism, and boost them up after a good play.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My biggest challenge is being the captain of a loosing team. For both my high school sports we never won more than 4 games. It’s a true challenge to keep the team motivated when most players feel like giving up. I was able to rise to the challenge and knowing my coaches relied on me, I maintained a positive environment all season long.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking to play at the highest level I can and play no more than a 6 hour drive from Chicago.
