It was a real treat getting to watch Wann compete, especially since I was told she was expected to miss the practice. That’s like being told Baskin-Robbins is out of bananas. To only have bananas suddenly appear. Wann has an accurate serve. She is as quick as a five-year-old eating a chocolate sundae. She reads hitters well, and I have a suspicious mind that she might still have a growth spurt. “Elvis has left the building.”
