Wilson is a worker in the middle; she hustles to close the block pin by pin, and she is urgent when she makes the transition to offense. The consistency of her availability in transition helps hold the block and open up the seams for other Emerald Rain hitters. Her eye work as a blocker is excellent; she checks the setter, the ball, her opposing middle, finds the attacker, and makes a decisive move.

Addison Wilson stood out as one of the top-performing middles in the gym, demonstrating exceptional athleticism and making hitting look effortless. During a hitting line drill, I suggested a minor correction to her finish, which she executed flawlessly. Addison’s ability to adapt quickly and her openness to feedback highlight her coachability and positive attitude. Her advanced skills and potential for growth make her more than ready for higher-level play. It’s no surprise that colleges are already reaching out to this promising middle, eager to add her talent to their rosters. Michelle Bamford @ PrepDig

Wilson had an excellent weekend for Oly Reign 16 Gold at the Colorado Crossroads, the team finished 3rd overall in the 16 Premier Division. The Olympia Bear is nearly 6-foot, and she has a powerful approach that she uses to put a charge into the ball on her attacks. Some of her most impressive kills at Crossroads were delivered via a sweet tip, sent down after Wilson hung in the air and searched for an open spot in the defense. The 2026 middle has the feel of a player on the rise and is one to watch moving forward.

Wilson is a long, athletic 2026 prospect, the Olympia High School player has strong hands and outstanding press on the block. She works hard to close the block and can cover up an opposing attacker completely when a set is tight. Her offensive game is developing, she has started to attack overpasses and contested balls at the net, she also has a hard push tip that she will use to score when a set might be in a tough spot.
