Addyson says her strongest skill is her ability to adapt to her hitters and learn how to set them quickly. She is continually working to improve her serving and defense, areas she finds challenging, and practices nearly every day, including bringing a ball with her while traveling to work on defense at home. Her goal for the season is to let herself enjoy the game again, explaining that she wants to find her love for volleyball, not just like it, while also improving her understanding of the game. She describes herself as competitive and loud on the court, while being quieter and calmer off the court, noting that she learned early that being quiet is not meant for volleyball.
