About Adele

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Next ball mentality. I’m smart with the ball and can put it down or work with angles and tools for hitting against high blocks. I work hard to hustle to the next ball and help my blockers as much as possible.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always try to be as positive as possible if I’m on the court or on the bench, I’m a team player and cheer everyone one. I think I’m pretty mentally tough, I’ve gone through injuries and rehabbed and got back on the court as strong as possible.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m really involved in Church and volunteer for their sports functions. I volunteer a lot with my HS Booster club and am part of FCA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m the Team Captain for my HS team and I’ve really focused on building up my team. I’ve mentored the younger players and helped them focus on the next play. I organize Booster events and have a take charge attitude and like to be organized.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I’ve fractured and dislocated my right pointer finger right before my 14u season for club, so I worked really hard at conditioning, learning and watching on the sideline and focused on mental toughness. I encouraged my teammates and came back stronger.

What type of college are you looking for?

A place where I fit and can focus on my education.
