With just 122 digs needed to reach the impressive milestone of 1,000 career digs, Addie is set to continue her upward trajectory and make significant contributions this season.

The libero shows impressive defensive instincts, backcourt range, and composure on first contact. She handles serve-receive with confidence, reads the game well defensively, and consistently works to keep the offense in system. The steady platform control, court awareness, and ability to compete through long rallies make her a very intriguing defensive prospect moving forward.

Addie has been a defensive powerhouse for Kirkwood this season, recording back-to-back games with 30-plus digs in a thrilling five-set upset over Eureka and a four-set victory against rival Webster Groves. Earlier in the year, she posted a season-high 38 digs against Rockwood Summit, showcasing her consistency and grit on the court. Her defensive dominance has been a key factor in Kirkwood’s impressive 21-12-1 record, as she’s racked up nearly 500 digs on the season, averaging 5.25 per set.

Wright is a player who stands out with her play from the back row. She passes with high precision and has a great platform. Her athleticism is impressive, evidenced by her ability to play six rotations during the high school season. This experience surely played a role in her high volleyball IQ as it helped her read offensive attacks.
