Peterson played a massive role in keeping O’Neill St. Mary’s in the postseason conversation throughout 2025. She took the reins of the Cardinal offense as a sophomore and was even better as an upperclassman. Her 9.4 assists per set ranked among the best in Class D2, and it manifested in the win column during the Cardinals’ 24-8 run. Even when she’s not receiving ideal passes, Peterson gets squared to the ball and dishes perfect out-of-system sets to the outside. Her progress could yield another successful senior outing.
