About Aftan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Very aggressive, hard working player who leaves it all out on the court. Always gives it my all and works to make every ball perfect.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Go out and play hard, not only to win but also to have fun with my teammates. Volleyball is a very mental sport so acknowledge that I am giving it my all and actually showing it, helps me to play each game to the best of my ability.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of key club, national honor society, and book club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being able to lose difficult games and coming back with more fire and effort has helped me to become a leader and step up for my team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, one of my teammates has passed away. This has been super difficult but now I go in with the mentality to play every game in honor of her.
