About Ainslee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I enjoy the fast pace and quick decision making of volleyball. I like attacking offensively and blocking defensively. I love being a part of the team and being accountable to my coaches and teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I want to continue working hard, making good choices, and being the best athlete and person I can be.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play the cello in the orchestra and also play basketball for my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe being part of a team is important and can be applied to life. I understand how important hard work is and am not afraid of a challenge. I try to help all my teammates be the best they can be.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been giving many opportunities that others have not had. I have great parents and coaches in my life that help lead me in the right direction. There are always personal challenges or challenges from coaches and teachers, but I look at them as opportunities to learn and grow.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to push myself to be the best volleyball player I can be. I am looking for a college that has high expectations in athletics and character. I also am looking for a college that will prepare me academically for a career.

King was Norwalk’s top offensive option at 2.7 k/s in 2025. This recent fall season highlighted her offensive development well as she is becoming more versatile and increasing her impact with the ability to take heavy swings at the left pin while also providing points from the middle where she has been seen the most. Her signature headband and competitive energy make her a recognizable part of any team she is on and it is anticipated that her impact this club season will include big points and a lot of fire on both sides of the ball.
