Ainsley Adams has been a key piece for Chaparral’s offense, bringing consistency and a high volleyball IQ to the court. Adams is a player we are keeping a close eye on this fall because of the dynamic all around game she brings as a setter. She distributes efficiently, understands how to put her hitters in good positions to score, and is an offensive threat herself, keeping opposing defenses guessing with well timed dumps. Adams continues to show why she is such an important piece of Chaparral’s offense.

Adams brings a strong offensive mindset to the setter position.

She has the ability to move the ball around and keep opposing defenses from settling into one look. Her willingness to spread the offense gives her hitters opportunities while also creating more space for the attack.

Adams can also become a scoring option herself when she is at the net, which adds another decision for opposing blockers. That ability to keep defenses guessing can make a setter especially difficult to game plan against. As she continues gaining experience, Adams has an opportunity to take another step as an offensive leader. She has already shown the ability to manage a significant role, and there is plenty more to watch as her game continues to develop.

Ainsley Adams runs one of the fastest offenses among Colorado’s 2028 setters and continues to stand out with her deceptive style of play. Adams is quick on her feet and brings impressive athleticism and a high contact point, allowing her to consistently put her hitters in a good position to score. She does a great job keeping opposing defenses guessing and brings a solid all around presence to the court. Adams looks poised and ready to lead Chaparral’s offense and help push them toward a deep state tournament run this fall.
