The senior outside hitter had one of the most impressive matches offensively across the state on Monday as her 33 kills were one of her best outputs this season. This is the seventh match of the season that she has reached 30 or more kills as she is simply taking care of business with her arm at a high rate. In Crestview’s most recent 3-1 win over Chippewa, Auer average 8.3 k/s on a .382 efficiency to go along with 16 digs. In the win, fellow senior and setter Sophia Stewart dished a match high 41 assists to maintain her season average just a 10 a/s. Crestview (21-3 overall), ranked #10 in DV, will face Chagrin Falls on Thursday.

Twice named an all-Ohio selection, including 1st team in DV in 2024, Auer (*pictured) is currently leading Ohio at 7.3 k/s on 323 total kills. Her career high .502 efficiency and 55% kill rate have been a critical part of Crestview’s offense this season as she is far outperforming any previous season of her varsity career. The Rebels are unbeaten in 2025, including a clean sheet in Mahoning Valley Athletic play at 10-0. Having lost just two sets in 2025, the Malone University commit is nearly single handedly dismantling opposing defenses with her volume of work and success. Opening the first match of 2025 with a season high 33 kills, Auer continues to pile on to her career numbers as she has terminated the ball 953 times through 3.5 seasons.

The 5’11 Auer is a fluid primary left side attacker. She can contribute well in the passing game while pursuing her attacking opportunities with good footwork, momentum build, and range in her shot selection upon contact. She elevates and sees the court in front of her well. Her Infinity team has experienced good success this club season with her point scoring being a big part of their effort. The Malone University commit led her Crestview team last fall with a career best 4.0 k/s average as she will enter he senior season with 630 total career kills.
