About Alaina

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Amazing court and game knowledge, consistent passing with great form, positive energy. Great at placing serves. Very good serve receive and talking to my teammates during play

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Always talking to my team mates telling them where to hit based on what’s open. I am always known as the sweet, kind girl who is always smiling and always plays a great game regardless of outcome.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was in the top 15 of my freshman class. I participate in Student council, Sunshine club, FCA, and Mentor program.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned to be a leader while being part of Student Council, working in groups for school projects, and playing volleyball. I have had the opportunity the lead group projects and help organize school functions. In these situations I have had to listen to other people’s ideas, coordinate responsibilities, hit deadlines, and learn how to work with many personalties.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have had group projects where other students do not complete the work assigned, therefore, I’ve had to work quickly and efficiently to try and hit the deadline.

What type of college are you looking for?

Close to home if possible but open to options if it would mean playing higher level volleyball
