Cabantac shined for me during the passing portion of drill work. She looked composed and consistently delivered the ball to target on a majority of the serves that came her way. What stood out was her activity before contact. Cabantac moved well laterally, using her feet to get behind the ball and put herself in a strong position to make quality passes. That movement, combined with a steady platform, allowed her to be consistent throughout the morning and showed the potential to be a reliable presence in serve receive.

So bully for this young lady. Cabantac created her own profile this week with all the necessary information to be considered for the rankings. That is the type of initiative I like to see. She was a digging machine in those highlights and was sacrificing her body to make several tough digs. A piece of advice to those making highlights: make sure your name and number are on the highlights. I am pretty sure she is No. 10. She is playing club ball for 913 Athletics.
