Barkley has been the team’s pin-to-pin tone-setter throughout the 2026 campaign. College recruiters will be compelled by Barkley’s experience on both sides of the setter, but her left-side excellence will likely take precedence in Indianapolis. It’s the ideal way to give this physical athlete as many swings as possible.

Barkley continues to show her potential and has the makings of an explosive middle with a high ceiling. Her length makes her a natural presence at the net, and she’s already showing the ability to close blocks and put up a strong wall against top hitters. Offensively, she attacks with power and developing shot selection. As her footwork and lateral quickness continue to improve, Barkley has the potential to be a dominant two-way middle.
