Springy and quick, Alex is a smart, athletic and fast outside hitter that can terminate from anywhere. Watching her play, I would not be surprised if she played a lot of outdoor ball, as her shot placement and consistent arm swing look the part. She’s also got above-average ball control, which makes sense considering she’s been a six-rotation outside for quite some time now.

Although also listed as a DS, Alex spent the majority of her high school career at Covington as a primary attacker on the outside. She makes up for her size by showing off an impressive range that leads this author to believe she’d be an exceptional beach player. Her range of smart shots, timely placement and the occasional full swing keep defenses on their toes constantly, making scoring easy for this young lady. Athletic, balanced and smart, Alex projects to be a DIII/NAIA prospect that can be anything from a three-rotation DS to a full-time O2.
