She is crafty with excellent court vision and does a great job recognizing and finding open space on the court. Her consistency and volleyball IQ have made her an important piece for Falcon this fall.

Alexandra Gomez was a steady all around presence for Falcon, finishing with five kills while hitting .200, adding two service aces and six digs. Gomez made an impact in multiple areas of the game, providing consistency both offensively and in the back row. She played with control throughout the match, taking care of the ball and finding ways to contribute even when she wasn’t the primary offensive option. Her versatility and ability to make plays on both sides of the ball made her an important piece in Falcon’s season opening sweep.

Gomez has shown consistent improvement over the last several seasons and enters her senior year coming off a successful club season. As one of the core leaders for Falcon High School, she brings a high volleyball IQ and understands when to attack with power and when to mix in different shots to find the open court. Gomez also provides consistent ball control in the back row and serves as an anchor in serve receive, making her a valuable six rotation presence for Falcon this fall.
