About Ali’itoa

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a mature and scrappy libero that constantly works to better myself and my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very personable and welcoming to all. I tend to work towards working to build my teammates' preexisting strengths to increase them for the better of the team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in school clubs such as Our Minds Matter, Quill and Scroll, BSU, and Multicultural Club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed many skills in these categories. After being captain of my club team all four years of high school, I've learned many different versions of being a "leader" and how to work towards bettering myself and my team. I've also learned how to colaborate with my peers, whether it's on the court or volunteering.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've faced a negligent coach that overlooked me. He would ignore me, and disregard anything I had to say to contribute.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for an uplifting program that's big on culture and drive. I want to love playing volleyball, not look at it as being "stuck" as a job.
