About Alivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a 14-year-old, 6-foot-tall, left-handed volleyball player, I’d describe my gameplay style as controlled, decisive, & collaborative. I’m confident running a 5-1 and 6-2 rotation as a setter, and my height and left-handed advantage also make me a strong & dominant right side hitter. I take pride in being a versatile player who can contribute with setting, hitting, and blocking.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a smart, composed, and passionate player who stays calm under pressure and makes quick, strategic decisions. I'm coachable, hard-working, and always looking to improve. I lead by example, communicate well, and support my teammates. I adapt fast, bounce back from mistakes, & stay focused on what helps the team succeed. I love the game & aim to be an athlete who honors God in how I play & lead.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I just graduated from a PreK–8th grade school I attended since I was 18 months old. At graduation, I was honored to receive the school’s top award, given to one 8th grader each year. I'm now entering an all-girls private high school and am excited to explore new clubs, organizations, and opportunities to grow both personally and academically.
