For a player who is relatively new to the game, her ceiling is incredibly high. At 6’1″ (and just an incoming freshman) with a long, athletic frame, she has the ideal build for a middle blocker and pairs it with serious springiness and a high contact point. She played with the confidence of someone far more experienced, never wanting to come off the court and embracing every opportunity to compete. Offensively, she looked comfortable attacking from anywhere along the net, and she also showed the lateral movement and instincts to contribute when blocking. As she continues to develop, improving her spacing and timing on offense will make her even more effective, but the physical tools and competitive mindset are already there. She’s a player with tremendous upside and one worth following closely.
