Alyce’s early numbers are about efficiency as much as volume. Through 17 reported sets in Region 7-3A, she has produced 93 kills at 5.5 kills per set, while MaxPreps currently lists her among Georgia’s statewide leaders in hitting percentage.

Efficiency at that level usually begins before the ball ever reaches the hitter. Approach discipline, early recognition of the block and the ability to choose the correct shot are what allow a pin to score without turning every attack into an all-or-nothing swing. Alyce has already shown over previous seasons that she can contribute in serve receive, defense, serving and blocking in addition to carrying a major attacking load.
