About Alyssa

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I consider myself a versatile and powerful attacker. I excel as a six-rotation outside hitter, and I'm also capable of transitioning effectively to the opposite hitter position. My game is characterized by strong hitting and blocking abilities, combined with excellent court awareness and decision-making.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a highly motivated and dedicated player. I have a strong work ethic, and I'm very coachable. I always strive to support my teammates, and I'm passionate about constantly improving my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Volleyball is life :-)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I developed my leadership skills by serving as the Westglades Middle School Team Captain in 2024. I'm a strong team player. I prioritize supporting my teammates, both on and off the court. I believe a positive team attitude is essential.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The challenges I've faced on the court have really helped me develop my interpersonal and communication skills. While I might come across as shy or reserved at first, volleyball has been instrumental in building lasting friendships.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a university that combines a strong business school with a vibrant student experience and a true commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes.
