Clun South 17 has stacked big wins this season, and Nichols has come on late in the season to add another quality scorer to their rotation of attackers. The Lewis and Clark 2026 prospect has an accurate swing that scores from either pin, and she is passing well in serve receive when she is in the back row. Nichols is adept at attacking and scoring off the block; she has a good feel for finding the edge and sending a swing careening out for a point.

Nichols was showing off an excellent bag of shots from the right and left pins for Club South 17. On the right side, she did an outstanding job loading up as a blocker and putting heavy hands on outside hitters’ attacks. The 2026 from Lewis and Clark hammered home kills when she had one-up situations and hustled in transition, and played smart off-block defense.

Nichols was excellent during the season for Club South, increasing her range defensively and adding power and accuracy to her offensive game. We liked her pipe attack when we watched her play at PNQ, and Nichols is a threat to keep teams out of system from the service line. The 2026 prospect has solid size at 5’10” and will look to have a big year competing in the Greater Spokane League this fall.

Nichols is now 5’10”, and leading a competitive Club South 16 team that will compete in the 16 Premier Division in Las Vegas. The 2026 OH from Gonzaga Prep in Spokane plays six-rotations, and has added improved power to her swing. Nichols can drop in a roll shot or an off-speed tip, can hammer away from the right side and is not afraid to swing with power down the line. Her all-around game continues to grow, Nichols is playing inspired defense in the middle back and causing problems with her well located servicing.
