About Amanda
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my gameplay style as quick, disciplined, and defense-focused. As a libero, I pride myself on my court awareness, consistent serve-receive, and strong defensive reads. I stay composed under pressure and work to keep the ball in play and support my team’s transition.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have a focused and team-first mentality. I stay positive, competitive, and disciplined, and I’m always willing to put in the extra work to improve. I handle pressure well and bring strong communication and leadership energy to the court.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Yes, I am involved in school and community organizations, and I have also received recognition for my academic performance and leadership. I stay active outside of sports and enjoy contributing wherever I can.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through both volleyball and school activities. I communicate well on and off the court, stay accountable, and work hard to support others. I’ve also gained responsibility and a service mindset through community involvement, which has helped me grow in discipline, maturity, and respect for others.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, I have faced challenges, especially balancing school, sports, and personal responsibilities. Learning to manage my time, stay disciplined, and keep a positive mindset has helped me overcome those moments. These challenges have made me mentally stronger, more focused, and more grateful for every opportunity to grow.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college that offers strong academics, a competitive volleyball program, and a supportive environment. I want a place where I can continue growing as a student-athlete, feel connected to the campus community, and be challenged both on the court and in the classroom.
