About Amber

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am fast and aggressive, but also insanely smart. I know I have to overcompensate for my size so I make up for it with my fast approach and strong swing. When I get a good set the only thing I want to do is terminate the ball, when the ball is off I know to think of an aggressive solution that can get my team back into the rally.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very go-getter person. I know that things are not just handed to me and I have to work twice as hard to get opportunities so I do so. Most of my time is spent in the gym trying to get better and I have no complaints about it. Some would say I'm addicted to volleyball and I wouldn't disagree!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am not involved in any clubs or organizations but I have consistently been on the high honor roll for every school I have attended since 6th grade while taking honors, advanced, and now AP classes.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a big college that has amazing scenery. I would prefer to be on the beach but honestly, I just want to get away from the cold as that is all I have ever known living in both NY and IL. I want a school that prides itself in its academics, more specifically its pre-med program as I would like to be a Pediatrician.
