Saunders was a juggernaut of an offensive force for Union Local in 2025 as she was highly terminal at 5.6 k/s. With a career high 506 total kills, she was one of the top offensive point scorers in Ohio while adding 14.4 digs per match for a complete effort. A well rounded athlete, she averaged 12 points and four rebounds during the basketball season, asserting her size and athleticism well across multiple sports seasons.

Ameera immediately stood out to me as one of the bigger and stronger outsides on Saturday. Immediately showing off her arm strength, Miss Saunders spent a good portion of the day hammering away at weak blocks and finding holes in the defense to hit a heavy ball through. She’s more of a three-rotation pin at the next level, but can step in to receive serve on a need basis for anyone who needs a big and physical attacker.
