Petrides will be one the other side will have to identify where she is a very dynamic middle blocker. She is 6’2 with a high snap on her contact where she can run multiple tempos in front of the setter and can terminate off one foot with a slide. She is a major presence with her block with how high she can touch as well as getting pressed over the net. When she is in the front row, she makes a lot of positive things happen. Maine South will take on Bolingbrook in the opening round of the Crimson Classic.

Petrides might be a little under the radar, but would be a steal at the next level as a middle blocker who could also play on a pin as well. At 6’2, she has a lot of length and athleticism where she can terminate on the slide, block, and transition well to attack on a variety of tempos. She has a high contact with a quick snap where she can hit some gnarly angles. She would fit in well with an offensive system who can run a quick tempo where shes not afraid to take the ball right out of the setter’s hands.
