About Angel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Quick, aggressive, and intense defensive player with strong court awareness. I prioritize consistency and accurate passing to put my team in system. I read hitters well, pursue every ball, and bring energy and communication to the back row.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Competitive, disciplined, and team-first mindset. I stay composed under pressure, communicate constantly, and take pride in doing the small things right. I’m coachable, hardworking, and always looking to improve

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills as a libero, especially in organizing the back row and keeping teammates informed and confident. I take pride in being a reliable teammate, staying positive, and holding myself accountable. Volleyball has also strengthened my work ethic, discipline, and ability to stay composed under pressure.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Losing my dad at 13 was one of the most difficult challenges I’ve faced. It pushed me to become more resilient, disciplined, and mentally strong at a young age. I’ve learned how to handle adversity, stay focused under pressure, and appreciate the importance of family and teammates. Volleyball has been a constant for me, giving me purpose and helping me grow both as a player and as a person.

Park plays for Club South 15 Black out of Spokane, the Mead libero has a calm platform in serve receive, and can crank it up to run down balls deflected off the block or thrown to the corner. Park is versatile and has played some setter if needed; her energy and gritty play are valuable anywhere on the court. She is a sand player as well, and that experience translates to her defensive skill and toughness at the libero spot.
