About Anna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a quick, energetic libero with active hands in defense and strong court awareness. I play with high intensity, communicate loudly, and bring constant energy to the back row. Known for fast reactions, aggressive pursuit of the ball, and consistency in serve receive and of course, my love for defense. I am fearless in the back row and go for every ball with speed and accuracy.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am the loudest player on and off the court. I am always speaking and narrating what is happening on the other side of the court, where the setter is, where the seam is, how many are up on the block, telling my front row where the best spot is, and reading the hitters on the opposite side and communicating where the hit is heading. My voice and competivness is my biggest value.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m the co-president of my school’s Israeli club and stay actively involved in my community. I volunteer regularly at a nursing home and spend Saturday mornings helping children with special needs at a local dojo. During the summer, I work at a camp with young girls while continuing to train and stay committed to my volleyball development.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my leadership roles and volunteer work, I’ve developed strong communication, responsibility, and teamwork skills. As I work with kids, ive learned how to be patient and positive even in hard times. Volunteering at a nursing home and working with children with special needs has built my empathy, patience, and adaptability and helped by quick decions.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, as a child, I was sexually and physically abused and molested by my biological mother and grandfather. I also have an autistic younger brother, both have been significant challenges that have helped me grow and into a strong young women who doesnt give up when faced with challenges, instead they drive me to work harder.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a positive coaching environment who prioritizes my health and supports me outside of volleyball. I hope for a community of girls who are loud, communicative, funny, and energetic. I am looking for a college that accepts me as me and teaches me to grow with postive reinforcment and understanding.
