19-14. The start of the season did not go so well when a sprained ankle sidelined Anna with a boot for a couple weeks. She set a 6/2 her first match back subbing out when in the front row. They lost that match to Langley, their first loss of the season. After that, things got much better. They lost just one more match, a three setter to Yorktown. Other than that, it was winning a state championship.

In the state championship match against Colgan they lost the first two sets. With Anna at the helm, they came back and won the next three sets. She finished with 36 assists and 17 digs. After that rough start to the season getting crushed in the first two sets in the championship match did not look so formidable.

Another taller setter at 5’10” who can be impactful at the net. This year she will set a year down with Paramount 16.

26 to 19. She set a 5/1 for West Springfield which resulted in an appearance in the Class 6 state championship. They were swept by eventual champion Langley in the semi-finals. Their only two losses all season were to Langley and to Chantilly, who played Langley in the finals of the state championship. At 5’10 she finished fourth on her team in blocks. In the future that height will suit her well at the setting position.

For club she is playing a year up for Paramount 17. They recently finished fifth in the Mid Atlantic Power League (MAPL). She shares the setting duties with Avery Prendergast Avery Prendergast 5'9" | S Bishop O'Connell | 2025 State VA , who belongs to the class of 2025. While it is still early in the club season, Paramount ranks fourth in the Region and 62 nationally.

Paramount will play in the Triple Crown as well as a number of qualifiers. Anna definitely stands out as a player to watch on this team.
