She spent time at both pins and was impressively productive on the right – she’s originally an outside hitter. Kelly made contact with the ball at a very point, used her power to beat blockers and defenders and was very smart with her shot selection. Her offense was also effective from the backcourt as she displayed great efficiency hitting from the middle back position.

Kelly and her team Houston Stellar 16 Elite dominated the division with six wins and just one set lost. She split time between her original outside hitter position and the right and was an important offensive weapon regardless of where she was. Kelly recently returned to the courts after a knee injury that sidelined her for months, but is picking her rhythm back very quickly. She was very effective offensively, making good use of her power and reach, and also scored hitting from the middle back position.

Kelly has been one of the nice surprises of the season playing with Houston Stellar 15 Elite. Although she missed a chunk of the team’s calendar due to an injury, she did more than enough to emerge as a very promising player in the early months of the season. She has been a force at the net, consistently scoring from the left and the right and getting her team out of difficult situations. Kelly is very explosive with her approach and uses her length and power well to put the ball down. She’s also very efficient when set off the net, making the most of her reach to find open spots on the court. The outside hitter also displayed great efficiency with her blocking, getting stops and making things harder for opposing hitters.
