Pierce is a two-way contributor for Notre Dame Academy as she helps the Eagles’ offense with her arm and through her distribution as a setter. She is second on the team offensively at 2.2 k/s through an increased role this season that sees her get ample opportunities to swing on the right side of the court, which helps to balance their collective offensive effort. As a setter, she has increased her varsity total to 621 assists through 2026, while increasing her defense this season to 4.6 d/m.

Pierce’s distribution starts with her pursuit of the ball. She gets prepared well before the pass occurs so that she can use her footwork efficiently to be able to get to the ball on balance and with an option to extend and square to her target. Her action allows her to maintain multiple options even when pulled off the net, including finding her middles when they are open to receive the ball. Pierce is a key part of Toledo VC 15 Black this club season while also competing for Notre Dame Academy during the high school season, leading the Eagles with 362 total assists.

Pierce had a solid Fall season for NDA as she led their offensive distribution by establishing her first-year freshman numbers with 362 total assists. She also contributed 40 service aces with 24 of those coming late in the season over their last five matches. Her contributions for her club team have been broad as she can swing aggressively at the right pin to add depth to the offense with capable point scoring. TVC recently won the Nike River Rumble and will see their schedule intensity increase with their upcoming events including Bluegrass and the OVR bid in March.

Pierce is a well-rounded athlete and provides some big offense for this team. With a quality corps of attackers, primarily an opposite attacker, she can bring some big swings from either pin to help balance their point scoring across the net. She gets her feet to the ball well and can swing with good pace and movement when on balance and time.
