Annika seemed to be able to find momentum for her team at nearly any moment. She was great from the service line, had a number of kills, and was an impact player on defense as well. Annika was disciplined in every skill. She was reliable for her team as they battled in the state semifinal.

Svennes will hit out of the backrow and makes smart shots to the corners. When she is in the front row she will work the ball off the outside hands of the blocker and makes other really smart plays. Svennes reaches high and gets on top of the ball and then stays ready to guard the net. When she steps back to serve she utilizes a nice flat float.
