About Annika

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a dedicated, hard-working, and a passionate athlete and student. I am a team leader on and off the court. I not only give all I have in practice but I work extensively outside of practice. I am a high-IQ setter, leader and very coachable.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very strong leader and supportive teammate. I bring positivity and encouragement to the court. I am very focused with a driven personality who likes to win, while also building lasting team bonds!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am part of the national honor society. I have also created two clubs from the very bottom to the top which were a beach volleyball club and pickle ball club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe I have a leadership mindset. I am very coachable and actively seek feedback from coaches. Because of my skill set, I believe that I can excel in high pressure environments and this not only helps me as an athlete, but also a student and hopefully in the future with playing college volleyball.

What type of college are you looking for?

As a highly competitive high school setter with many years of club experience, I am looking forward to playing college volleyball at the next level. I would like to be at a competitive program athletically and academically!
