How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

When I am on the court, I am loud and I strive to have effective communication with my teammates, each play of the game. After I make a mistake, I reset and move on to the next play. I also enjoy celebrating my teammates accomplishments and keeping the energy at the highest level possible.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a growth mindset and want to enhance my volleyball skills each and every day. In my spare time, when I'm not at the gym, I enjoy hanging out with friends and spending time with family. I pride myself in being a nice person who is kind and has empathy for others. I hope to make someone’s day with a nice comment or a good joke!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was inducted into the National Honor Society in February 2025. I participate in the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America Club and I received a Scholastic Book Fair Essay Honorable Mention in 2024.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the last two years, I have seen myself grow and become a more confident player who leads by example. In February 2025, I was inducted into the National Honor Society where I have the privilege of giving back to the community, each month, through volunteering at church's, daycares, and other local organizations..

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This year, my High School hired a new head volleyball coach. The coach introduces us to new skills to support us in improving our play and working as a team. At first, I struggled with his coaching style. However, I quickly applied, practiced and used the adjustments he provided and after a few weeks, I saw improvements to my mental and physical game.

What type of college are you looking for?

In addition to finding a perfect fit academically (as I pursue a degree in Business and Marketing), I wish to attend and play at a university with a strong VB schedule and a highly communicative coach who has the passion to motivate all of his/her players to become the strongest player they can be. I look forward to being part of a collaborative and tight knit community!
