Aria earned her Top Performer award at the Houston Showcase the same way she earns everything: by outworking the situation in front of her. The 5’3″ libero from Westfield was quick and decisive in the back row all day and her reads were consistently a step ahead of where most players her age are operating. She passed well under pressure and never gave the opposition an easy point by breaking down at first contact when the serve got tough. Her energy lifted the players around her and the court coaches appreciated how she kept her team connected throughout the competitive portions of the event. Aria is the kind of back row player who makes a defense feel different the moment she steps on the floor.
