Hovland earned All Conference Honorable Mention in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference last season after a strong season on the outside pin. She finished with 214 kills, 220 digs, and 26 aces, showing she will go the extra mile and contribute on both offense and defense. She’s a hard working player who sees the court well and seems to have a knack for finding way to score for her team. As the program looks to build on last year’s 8–18 record, Hovland’s effort and consistent, solid play will be a big part of their upcoming season’s success.
