About Ariel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a setter, I'm quick on my feet, I'm consistent, and I know how to read the defense. Decision making is key in my game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am mentally tough and encourage my teammates throughout plays.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a part of the Junior National Honors Society and I have attended the JRNYL conf. I have received numerous academic awards such as the President's Education Award, The 2024 Superintendent's Student Service Learning Award, The Academic Achievement Straight A's, Certificate of Student Engagement in the Athletic, Fine Arts, and Extracurricular Activities Program, & The American Legion Award, etc.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm co-captain of my volleyball team which improved my leadership and teamwork skills. I've also contributed to my community by baking goods for people in need, packaging produce, cleaning up roads, cooking food for the homeless, working with elementary students in summer school, and creating care packages for veterans and Domestic Violence Survivors.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In the athletic aspect of my life, I was faced with the challenge of being short for a volleyball player. I've been placed on the second team for two years in a row and had to work extra hard in order to make the travel team that I'm on now.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to all college opportunities!
