Rice is continuing to build on an impressive start to her high school career. After a strong freshman campaign, she is back making an impact as a sophomore, with 363 assists and an average of 7.9 per set. What stands out about Rice is how she works through different situations. When the pass is not perfect, she uses her volleyball IQ to find a workable option and keep the play alive. That ability to adjust is important for any setter, especially when the offense needs to recover quickly. Meanwhile, Rice continues to help move the ball across the court and give her hitters opportunities to score. She has already shown plenty of promise, and her continued production makes her a fun player to follow in Colorado 3A!
