Barnes has been a huge addition to the Blue Devils’ attack as she leads this team offensively at 4.4 k/s, one of the best season efforts thus far among all Ohio 2029 hitters. Recently named the Ohio Valley Conference Athlete of the Week, Barnes has earned more than 20 kills in a single match three times so far. She is an aggressive attacker with good lift off the floor that includes awareness and control to swing with purpose at the top of her jump. As she cleans up her movement patterns she will be even more dangerous at her contact point and will likely improve her .242 efficiency. She also adds 9.6 d/m.
