About Aubree

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Aggressive hitting, I aim to overcome the opponents blocks. Skilled at covering the back court calm and collected able to read the attackers intentions.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My court and game mentality are to always be ready, I anticipate everything. I stay focused under pressure, I am able to bounce back from mistakes. I encourage and uplift my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I workout out with a program called Youth Athletic Performance. As a high school sophomore I was selected 1st Team All-Conference, CHSAA All-State Honorable Mention

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was selected by my teammates as the 1st team captain as a sophomore. I take pride in leading my team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’m currently in the middle of moving. I won’t be starting the new high school until August, as I switched to online schooling. I’ve already met most of the girls and think this will be a good fit. This move has brought on a host of new challenges, such as making new friends and starting with a new volleyball team. I don’t look at this as adversity, I see it as a challenge I’m looking forward to.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that will allow me to further my education and obtain a business degree along with the ability to continue my volleyball journey.

Aubree delivered a powerful performance against Mancos High School. She racked up 21 kills with just 6 hitting errors on 43 attempts. Averaging 7 kills per set and finishing with an impressive 49% kill rate, she was unstoppable at the net. Now leading both her team and the entire 1A/2A San Juan League in kills and hitting percentage, Aubree has totaled 91 kills in just 15 sets. Her impact has helped propel Dolores High School to a perfect 6–0 record, ranked 2nd in the state for 2A and 1st in their league.
