About Audrey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a right side I do not get a lot of chances to hit, but when given the opportunity to be able to get a I am able to use my skills of placing balls or keeping it in play to help out my team. When coming to blocking I am able to block the outside since I am in a position as a right side. I focus on their hands and track the ball from then on and provide a touch or a block for my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is strong because through past experiences I learned that being confident is the best way to do your best and the game should be played with fun and not a feeling of being forced to play. I also believe that making mistakes is the best way to learn especially when you have a good coach. My personality is that I am confident to socialize and work in new environments when given a chance

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in many clubs at school and am planning to sign up for more this year. I have received non-sports awards during middle School.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Many say that I work great with new people and that I’m able to put myself out in the open to meet new people and to work with them. Through great teamwork anything is achievable. Through community service you can learn to be humble and be able to work for efficiently.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, last year I had almost lost the love of this sport because of a bad decision on my coach. Through my coach dropping me from varsity I was able to break down and build up a more powerful and strong willing skill of wanting to get better.

What type of college are you looking for?

UCLA, GCU, UCI, UCSD, UC BERKELEY, NYU, UCSF, Johns Hopkins University, and UC Davis
