Heavy-hitting and relentless, Audrey’s physical presence is intimidating in any of the front row positions. She’s listed as both a middle and a pin attacker, so that’s cheating on my part, but her abilities go far beyond being able to hit in any position. Projecting to be a middle at the next level, she’s more refined in her attack than her block at the moment. Broad-shouldered and strong, Audrey’s ability to terminate in any tempo of ball at any angle from any area along the net will carry her far into this recruiting process, and will be a gem of a pickup for a school looking for a hybrid middle.

Speaking of big and physical, Audrey is probably the strongest of the bunch listed here today. More of an M2 because of her solid two-footed transition work, Miss Staggs can honestly terminate from anywhere in any tempo and in any slot along the net. Her size allows her to go over blocks, while her brute strength puts some weight behind the ball, making digging her even harder. Her combination of size and approach lead me to believe that she can be a middle OR a right side at the next level, and would be a steal for anyone looking for exactly that.

A strong and powerful M2 for the next level, Audrey spent most of her day with us showing her upper body strength, the heavy ball she hits on zero-tempo sets, and her length when she defends from pin to pin. Playing for a Northview program that is consistently in the top ten in the state in their class, Audrey’s ability to take over a match from the middle shows her physicality and volleyball acuity, and should be a nice pickup for a school looking for a plug-and-play M2 to enhance their stable of middles.

I’ve personally seen Audrey take reps in both the middle and the outside, but since she does SO well as a middle, I’ll keep her here—-for now. Audrey’s ability to hit all angles regardless of where the set location is OR what position she plays makes her quite marketable for the small school crowd. More of an M2 because of her solid two-footed approach, Miss Staggs is a strong, dependable middle from western Indiana that can use her upper body strength to her advantage on both offense and defense.
