About Audrianna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'd say I am scrappy (in a good way) and spunky on the Court. I try to focus on the team as a whole and constantly encouraging players and being very loud and vocal. I focus on making quick adjustments depending on the play and offense. I live by Jason Kelce's quote "Hungry Dogs run faster."

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is definitely quirky and I try to always keep the team laughing and having a good time on the Court. I am there to compete just as much as I am there to enjoy the game of volleyball. I have set goals for myself each year and whether I have achieved them or not it shows me what I need to do to push harder for my next set of goals.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer as a teen ambassador for the Choose Courage Foundation which helps spread awareness about teen dating violence. This has been a great experience in general but, it has also been a very eye opening experience.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have struggled for years with anxiety. My anxiety has brought me many challenges and at one point almost cause me to stop playing volleyball. I was able to turn volleyball into a tool to help overcome my anxiety, build my confidence and become a well rounded player. While, I still have times that I am anxious, it no longer affects my daily life.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college and team that will make me feel comfortable and give me a sense of family. I thrive in a positive and encouraging environment where we all strive to help one another. I am excited to get the full college experience.
