Ava De La Torre Ava De La Torre 5'5" | DS/L Woodcreek | 2028 CA named MVP at PrepDig’s Exposure Tour in Gardena, CA.

Ava earned MVP recognition for the way she quietly controlled the court. Coach Navarro described her as a “silent assassin,” the kind of player who shows up in the biggest moments just when the team needs it most. Ava played with a constant smile, cheered on her teammates, and brought a presence that made everyone around her better.

Ava shared that her strongest skills are leadership and communication, and that showed clearly in the way she directed defensive positioning and helped hitters understand where to attack. She is working on becoming even more aggressive defensively, pushing herself to cover more court and extend rallies. Her goal this season is simple and telling, to be more consistent and go all out on defense every time.

Off the court, Ava competes on a nationally ranked speech and debate team, and her passion for public speaking translates directly to her confident, vocal presence on the court. She is the kind of player every team wants, reliable, positive, and impactful when it matters most.
