She knows how to tool the block on a slide and gets high at the net. Hewitt-Smith is aggressive on the court and will take advantage of the middle and right back with her strong shots. The wall that she creates against her opponents is hard to penetrate. Ava is coached by Mitch Kallick and Karl Rojo. She is a fun middle to watch because she has great energy on the court.
